My very own Buford.

"And don't go home. And don't go to eat. And don't play with yourself. It wouldn't look nice on my highway." Buford T. Justice

For those of you who arent aware, I have a nickname for my Mother.
And it's after the lovely gentleman shown above. Mr. Buford T. Justice from Smokey and the Bandit.
I cleverly shortened it to Buford, or Bufey, and have been referring to my Mom as this, for the past 10 years. She says she doesnt like it, but i know deep down that everytime she hears it, she remembers how cute I once was to her.
Under the photo is a direct quote of his, which explains why he reminds me of my Mother. She used to warn me of the same things.
So one day after watching Smokey and the Bandit with my dear brother, I decided that this was the perfect nickname for my beautiful mother.
Call it an oxymoron. However I do see a resemblance. Kidding Mom.
Jackie Gleason aint got nothin on you.
Right now my mom is thinking the following:
"There's no way, *no* way that you came from *my* loins. Soon as I get home, first thing I'm gonna do is punch yo mamma in da mouth!" - Buford T. Justice
But she IS my Mom, so it wouldn't make much sense to punch herself in the mouth now would it. That is deep.

I think you need to refresh your experience and re-watch this show with Jared and Jake....I think you'll come away with something entirely different nowdays.

That is way funny... back when we were young, (like 9th graders) and we were inseperable I can remember you calling her that a never really knowing why. But here is a funny one, in Las Vegas when we had that slime that farted and we walked through the casino's and did the sound we laughed so hard at ourselves, and the fire alarm going off at like 3 in the morning and we had to use the stairs. geeeeeze. The good old times!
