Shenanigans and such!

So we haven't been up to a whole lot lately since school is sucking the life out of us. True story. But we have found some time to skidaddle up to Bridal Veil Falls for a nice walk, we went to Lagoon, and of course to Keishy's coming home party on Sunday. Woowoo, sooo glad she is home! Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.
Such pretty falls!
Me, loving the train at Lagoon. Frightmares is the bomb my friends. No lines and much cooler weather. Holler.
Keishy's coming home party! Woo!
The Wilde Ones at Jake's house for the big party!
Jess and her tiny baby bump, woohoo so cute!
This is Skyler, he invited me over to his house to see his new basement. I said, Nah.
Me and Little Remi, who is not little anymore. But he is still pretty.

Ohhhh wow, this is Awesome. I love BYU but....

Click on it so you can read all the text...

That's what I'm gonna call it.

I got worms. Have any of you been watching the news? Did you perhaps see all of the footage on how the Oquirrh Lakes are covered in Round Worm? Well the Oquirrh Lakes my friends is = to Daybreak Lakes. Which if you scroll down through my blog, you will see I spent alot of my summer days there. Lounging in the water on my queen blowup mattress, like the Sun goddess that I am. And being such a good friend, I also took all of my family and friends there. How nice of me! Um, so I don't technically have worms. But I swear I can feel little swimmers (not those kind of swimmers) all throughout my insides. If you see me on a piece of lawn, dragging my butt around with my pants down, please don't be alarmed. It can be an itchy mess I hear.

Sweet & Sour.

This weekend Blake spent his time in Price where he helped his brother with some electrical work before winter. So I ventured off to the parent's house and stayed for the weekend, since I had to wake up Saturday morning and take a hellacious Physiology test (which sucked). All weekend Jaxson went in and out of his "I hate Emi" stages. Right now he pretty much loves Blake and thinks I'm el blanco diablo (that means white devil, for those of you who aren't bilingual like myself). Basically, I'm the one who takes Blake away, therefore Jax despises my presence most days. Well on Sunday I was helping my Mom cut up fruit for lunch, and Jax was dipping strawberries in sugar at the bar. He kept staring at me with disgust, and would repeat "No Emi! Noooooo. No." That's pretty much our conversations somedays. I say " I loooooove you!" and he responds with "Nooooo, no no no." So as this was going on I grabbed my phone and said "okkk smile for Blake!" And this is what I got:

Life is unfair.

One day he will see the light and realize I am the cool Aunt. Who probably shouldn't give him lemon juice to try to win over his affection. But it's so dang funny.

Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner.

Ok it's probably not healthy that I am as sad as I am after hearing Patrick Swayze passed away yesterday, but he was truly my second true love! (Sorry, first place went to Zac Morris). I remember waking up at Andrea Smith''s house every Summer morning and watching Dirty Dancing (followed by Pure Country, love ya George). He was sooo hot though right? We would fast forward to all our favorite parts once we watched the show the whole way through. This went on for all of my childhood life. But hey, he is in a better place and hopefully feeling much better so that is good!
Johhhhhhhhhhhhhnny!!! I had to do it. RIP my friend =(

Don't do it.

Last night, just before bedtime, Blake and I cozied up on our queen size blow up mattress and proceeded to flip through every one of the 11 channels on our television. We are big time, we know. I came upon channel # 10 and found "Manson." This is a show that Blake and I have been hoping to see, it's all about Charlie and the gang who decided one day it would be a great idea to kill a bunch of famous people with forks and such. I was obviously sleep-remoting at the time, and decided to keep it on this show. After about 30 minutes of watching, I said to Blake "Um I don't think I can sleep now k?"
We ventured off to our real bed, which is not the blowup kind, and I proceeded to doze off. At which point I found myself in one of those circus mirrors where everywhere you look is the same image. That image was Charles Manson's face. And just as luck would have it, I couldn't wake up for the life of me. You know those dreams where you know you're dreaming, but you just can't find a way to wake up? Yah it's lots of fun. Blake said I was breathing really shallow and quickly, so he slapped me in the face as hard as he could. Just kidding, but he did nudge me until I woke up, thank the heavens. I was so freaked out I couldn't go back to sleep for quite some time. I'm pretty sure I told Blake I was scared the tennis-playing-Polygamist was going to get me while in my stupor. But thanks to my back-tickling-husband I finally found sleep. Moral of the story, Manson is not a good bedtime story. And Polygamists can find you if they put their mind to it. I dont care what Blake says.

This is Why I'm Hot.

The following conversation proves why I have the coolest friends and family imaginable. Me, Jenny, my Mom, and Tonya, are all attending Mandy's Mary Kay party on Wednesday night. We realize it is very important to be presentably dressed at such a meeting, and that's where the shenanigans began:

Emily Wilde Heyuh darlin, we are gonna party together on Wednesday at the MK Party woohoooo! BYOB Bring your own Bong.

Tonya Kolste Im totally going to glam up, old school style. I just pulled out my baby blue eye shadow, and my orangemagenta tigress lipstick! you've never seen anything hotter. end. of. story.

Emily Wilde I'm wearing a leotard. Be there or be square.

Mandy Macey Pugh Yeah, well I'm wearing gold lame (La-may) pants. That just looks like "lame" on here, but they're hot yo.

Tonya Kolste dont forget your turquoise pumps, and your shoulder-padded 3 button blazer.

Emily Wilde I'm going to pick up an indian-inspired choker at the state fair. Nothing says party like a dreamcatcher hanging from my goiter.

Behold, Tis I, Goggle Girl.

I had to buy these hot little numbers for my Physiology Lab. Does it make you horny baaaaby? I wear them everywhere I go.To work meetings, baptisms, Bar mitzvahs...I can't wait to take them to church.

Things to Do:

1) Study for Lab quiz that happens tonight.
2) Study for Lecture quiz that is tomorrow.
3) Study for Lab quiz that happens next Thursday.
4) Study for Lecture Test which is next Thursday-Saturday.
5) Study for Teas test which will be on the following Saturday.
How am I supposed to have any fun with this type of schedule? And this is all in the name of ONE class my friends. Boooooooooooooo! I love it.
At least I have the following to look forward to:
A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix.. The doctors operated and advised him that all was well. However, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at the hairs in his crotch.Worried that it might be a second surgery and the doctors hadn't told him about it, he finally got enough energy to pull his hospital gown up enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable.Taped firmly across his pubic hair and private parts were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily --- if at all.Written in large black letters was the sentence:'Get well soon....from the nurse in the Jeep you pulled over last week.'Kinda brings tears to your eyes don't it?

Corrrrrrrrrrrrrection.

Last night we had Physiology for the second time, and our glorious teacher had some superb news. #1 on the quiz was keyed wrong, and I actually got it right. That means I got 100% on my first quiz folks. Thank you sisters, I knew you would pull through for me.

Labor Day Weekend woooooo!

Hello friends, it's a wonderful Tuesday morning after an even more wonderful Labor Day Weekend. I took my first Physiology quiz on Saturday and got a 9 out of 10, which I was pretty stoked about. I finally understand all the gossip about the Physiology teacher teaching one thing, and asking something completely different on quizzes/tests. Luckily I pulled through it with a 90%. I just hope this luck stays with me for the next 3 months. Walmart better keep stocked up on flash cards my friends, cuz I'm gonna have a boat load! Saturday we also went to Brick Oven with Blake's parents. It was fun to spend time with them, as always. Then we all ventured off to the mall to attempt to find me some hot new winter boots, no such luck. But we did get to go to Sniagrab at Sports Authority (Blake's old place of employment.) All the guys who are still working there were pretty excited to see Buck Wilde back in the building =) We decided for the evening festivities to go to a Bees game, but we drove past the stadium and saw a bazilllllion people there and decided no thanks (fireworks again, how do they afford firework night so often?!). So we headed up Emigration Canyon and went to our favorite dining spot, Ruth's Diner. It was a great night, got a little chilly near the end of dinner, but still super. Here's a pic of us there.... awwwww.
Sunday we spent most of the day doing Blake's accounting homework, so fun! But we got it all done, and we both learned some new things, so hey, we can't complain too much right? Sunday evening we went over to Jen and Matt's for a night of fun. My parents were out of town all weekend so we threw a rager with Jen/Matt/Ty/Tonya and kiddies. Monday, Blake and I woke up and decided it was time to go play some tennis. We headed over to Riverton High and noticed all of the courts were being used except for one. The other courts were filled with boys anywhere from the age of 12-15 I would say. I asked them if they were the highschool boys team and they said no so we took the last court and commenced to playing. After about 20 minutes of play, I got looking around and realized all these boys were fighting like brothers, and their tennis attire involved jeans, a long sleeve shirt, a belt & hat, and all the same shoes. If you know me, I am obsessed with spotting Polygamists. And let me tell you, my polyg-a-dar was sounding. Before we knew it, another big van came to the courts and dropped of 10 more little boys that looked to be anywhere from 7-10. And again, they were all dressed the same and knew each other by name. Before long a couple of the boys started fighting and one of them ran out to the van, I figured a Mom must be in there watching or something. Two minutes later the little boy came out and yelled "Daddy says to be nice to me!" Before I could say Bubble bangs, out walked Daddy-o in his full tennis attire. And let me just tell you, I have never felt so sick in my life. He was staring at us with his nasty comb-over and I knew it was time to go. I didn't want Big Papa realizing that I could be his next wife/tennis coach. So we got the H out of there. Here is a picture for your enjoyment, I hope he didn't see me snapping pictures, but I just had to. It's not everyday that you get to play tennis amongst the Polygamists. Nawmean? That's him on the left. Amongst his 30 chilluns (that means children, I speak Polyg). The funniest part of the whole thing, what must have went through that kids mind when I asked if they were the higschool tennis team. Whoops! Game on!

After the exciting tennis match, we ventured home and got all of our Barbee-Q stuff ready. Then we met Jen and Matt, and Ty and Tonya at Daybreak lakes. We had an awesome afternoon of lounging and eating in 75 mile per hour winds. Here are some pics from our afternoon of sun and wind. PS. Don't mind all the nice tattoos some of us are sporting, Jenny made a delectible purchase of $1 temporary tattoos and I'm afraid just about every one of them ended up on Jax. Oooops.

Oh, here is Jax finishing his 4th diet coke. chug chug chug! Good times.
Last night we decided to go walk around The District to kill some time and we found ourselves at our favorite spot, good old Target. They had a nice portable Weber BBQ on clearance so we purchased it, FYI it's called the Weber Q-100. And don't you forget it. Our other little BBQ has served us well, but we decided to upgrade since we BBQ so often. Next time we are BBQ-n in a windstorm, the Weber will prevail. Here is a pic of Blake with his exciting new purchase, and below is a pic of me trying to hide my excitement. Wooo!!!
Well hope you all have a great week my friends!

I love buying BBQ's!

Pure Luck.

Do you remember that show Pure Luck? Oh how I loved that show. I used to rent it all the time from Movie Buffs. Only a true Lehite will know what Movie Buffs is, it was pretty much an everyday occurance to go to Movie Buffs, and then to Vittles. We were living the dream folks... Anyways, moving on to the actual topic of my post today. Last night Blake and I finished our classes at 9:30pm. Yah, it was as fun as it sounds. My class is going to be pretty hard I think... Physiology seems super intense and my teacher has already proven that she intends to prove how smart she is, rather than actually teach us. If you have ever had a teacher like that, you will understand my woes. Anytime someone ends every sentence with "in other words..." you know you're all in trouble. Please just explain it the first time so that all of us "idiot physiology students" can actually understand and learn. Anyways.... moving on, that's not even the best part of the night. So Blake and I are walking out of the school, both complaining about our "difficult lives at UVU", and we attempt to start Blake's car. Which doesn't start at all. We try 4 more times, then Blake sits in the car next to me and says "Pleeease just start one time." Bam, it starts. It's called paying your tithing folks ahaaa. So luckily we got the car over to Walmart on University Parkway, Blake was 99% sure it needed a new battery. We bought the battery, 95 dollars later, and walked out to the car. Only to find our car is being sprayed by a huge sprinkler. And I am not exaggerating here, we are the only car being hit by this sprinkler. Apparently this particular sprinkler was broken, so it was a large fountain of water spraying right on top of our car. But no other cars, just ours. And now we can't get the car started again to move it out of the way of the broken sprinkler. By the time Blake gets the new battery in place, he is sopping wet (after many attempts to cover the sprinkler with a grocery cart, see picture below). And I am sitting in the Walmart parking lot under a light, praying that he doesnt explode with F words. Luckily my amazing husband got the battery replaced, and we made our way back to the freeway. At this point it was 11pm and we vowed to never complain about our "poor, sad, lives at UVU" ever again. It was a test, and I sure hope we passed with flying colors my friends.

The Last Days of Summer.......

Last weekend Blake and I made it to another Bees game, with the season coming to a close we figured we better enjoy them before they're over! It was a beautiful night, we took a blanket and watched the game from the lawn. I'm not ready for summer to be over!
Sunday night we went to Charley Jenkins Band in the park. It was fun to watch the Barnes boys play again, they even got one of the twins to wear a Willie Nelson bandana with some braids attached. It was awesome! Hol and fam joined us, and Kira and Max, it was fun to hang out with friends and enjoy some good music.
Photo Shoot Time....aaaaaand go!
This last Saturday, we ventured off to University Mall for awhile. Jen won a contest with 97.1 zht so she got to roll some dice to try and win 50,000. As you may have guessed, she didn't win. But it was still a party to watch her get real nervous about the whole ordeal. Nessa came into town Friday night and stayed with us for the weekend so she got to join in on all the fun Pugh festivities. After the mall, my parents, and Nessa and Chloe, came over to the lakes for a relaxing afternoon. My dad, and Blake and I, were all throwing the football when my Dad overthrew it (nice job Dad). So Blake took it upon himself to hurl himself off the dock on our queen size mattress. I was concerned that the mattress might pop, but I think the only thing that ended up popping was Blake's neck. He was a smidge sore after =) But hey, great entertainment for the rest of us. (see the video footage at the end).
I saved the best for last. The two beach babes coming out of the water. Oooo-lala.
Well that was our weekend folks, hope you had a superb one yourself.
Happy Tuesday
Here's the mattress fiesta video. He is so bendy isn't he?
