Could it Be??????

Why YES IT COULD!
I am officially back from the land of the dead.
I figure it's time I start writing on this little thing again...because I am a loser for not doing it for 5 months or however long it has been! And I think I should again. So that is all.

Anywho, here is a list of a few recent updates that you should probably know about.

I now work at Riverton Hospital, and LOOOOOVE it. I'm on the med/surg floor and get to take care of all the sickies. It's so nice dealing with people now, instead of paper!

I am currently in my last semester, yes last semester of school, before I officially get my RN. Boy how time flies! Now this doesnt mean I only have this semester left. I am going straight into my Bachelor program which will be an extra 2 semesters. But still, we are getting close people. Say hello to Nurse Nancy in less than 3 months....Halleluyer!
We recently went to Disneyland with the Wilde Bunch, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. We played at Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Disneyland for 3 days, and a Yankees/Angels game to finish it off nicely!

This picture makes Blake angry.
This is the closest Blake would get to the teacups, therefore we didn't get to ride them.
Nothing fun to say hear, except we didn't coordinate our outfits.
At Angels stadium, before the big Angels WIN! =)
Playing at Huntington Beach, ready to go back already!

And how to not strap your baby into the car. I'm trying to learn these types of things before we decide to have a kid.
Other than that good old life has been about the same. My dog grew up and hates me, my hubby finally got his bronco up here from Price and thinks he is a bachelor again when driving it, I am about to turn 100,000 miles over on my Silver Sanchez Mazda 3, I recently got my haircut so that I no longer look like a polygamous, and my husband thinks we need to buy a golf cart. That about sums up the past 3 months, glad to be back everyone. Have a Happy October!!!

Aaaaaaaaand......

I'm employed again.
Pretty sad that like 2 posts back I was so excited to say I finally quit my job! But hey, it was an opportunity I just couldn't pass up. I'm excited to say that I will be Riverton Hospital's newest employee, I applied online for a med/surg PCA job and actually got an interview. Which in and of itself was a huge surprise! And it turns out I didn't completely blow my interview... so yay for that! I will be starting my orientation on June 27th and hopefully will start working shortly after. Wish me LUCK, and I hope to NOT see any of you on my floor anytime soon! =)

I'm baaaaaaack!

Wow, let's just say that once I quit my job I forgot all about blogging world.
I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since I last posted! Things are going great, it has been nice being able to focus solely on school instead of school and work! I got Spring semester over with and passed with flying colors, if that's what you call it =) Now I'm eyeball deep in pathophysiology. I'm taking it first block, so it's only 7 weeks instead of 14 weeks and it's a party, to say the least! But I only have 3 more weeks left, so that is spectacular! Other than that we have been camping twice already, hit up the zoo and a Bee's game and we are really hoping that this dang weather will clear up so that we can have some summer fun! I'll start posting some pics of our summer fun-ness and try to get back into writing a blog every now and then. Happy June to everyone!

Goooooooooooooooooooood News!

Gosh it's been almost a month since I last posted, that is suuuuuuper lame of me!
But I have been super busy lately with school and work and church and all the other things that keep us all busy, so technically it's not my fault!
However I am excited to announce that I have put in my 2 weeks notice at work and will soon be a professional student! I've had mixed feelings about it all because CVE has been such an amazing company to work for the past few years, but with school getting extremely intense I feel that it's finally the right time.
And I can't lie, I'm pretty dang excited about it!
So cheers to homework, tests, and reading becoming 100% of my life...
Now it's time to start planning all the lunch dates with my friends =) Wahoooooooooooooo!
P.S. I need to say thanks to my hot hubby who has been pushing me to do this for quite awhile. I'm one of those people who doesn't let go of control very easily, but with his encouragement (and his hard work) I know that this is the best thing for us right now!
With all of that said, he made me promise that I would do 3 things. One is that I will make his lunch every day, two that I would tend his dog and three is for my ears only bwahaha. The first one won't be a problem =)

My hot hubba-licious...

He's Hot.
I have to write a little something about my delectible husband Blake. As many of you know he has been working at Kennecott ever since he graduated. And he has really loved it there, he has met lots of great people and learned a lot over the past few months. I think he is crazy for enjoying having to work outside, but I guess that's what men like!
(Well manly men anyways, maybe not the ones who wear pink shirts....)

Anywaaaays, a month or so ago he was approached about a new position that better aligns with what he graduated in, and after a lot (and I do mean A LOT) of patience he received the news last week that he got the promotion! He is super excited to be moving forward in a direction that he has been hoping for. And to only add to the excitement, he will no longer be working shift work! I will actually have my husband back! =)
Monday through Friday job equals back to wild and crazy weekends (minus that whole night shift thing I have to do at the hospital on Fridays now, bleh).

But I am so excited for him, and so proud of his hard work. He is always amazing me with his skills, whether it be at work or at home or at church (he seriously does like 10 projects a week on our house, painting, fixing appliances, troubleshooting vacuums, you name it and he can do it!).
I couldn't have asked for a more amazing husband, I love you Blake!

Now lets DVR every episode of American Idol and SYTYCD and watch them all in a row, yay for weekends! Bwahaaaaa.

Our Newest Addition......

Well, we finally (we, meaning me of course, Blake has wanted this since well forever) broke down and got ourselves a little sidekick to call our own.
His name is Toby.
He is a 6.5 week old Red Merle Australian Shepherd.
Aaaaand he is the cutest thing I have ever seen, I even let him in my living room. And kitchen. And closet. And anywhere else his cute little self pleases.
Believe me, this is a BIG step for me.
But I figure while he's just a little guy he can roam as he pleases, as long as we are watching!
We have already talked to him about where we do and do not pee and poo and he understands. (right.......).
It's fun to see Blake so excited about his new little buddy, and we can't wait to introduce him to his lovely friends Badger and Winnie!
I think they will all love each other.
So cheers to us being new parents! Let the fun.....and lack of sleep..... begin! He was up at 3am last night and refused to go back to sleep.
Is this what parenting is like? Joy.
PS. Grandma and Grandpa Pugh couldn't be happier about the new grandchild, haha he even peed twice in their house already.
That is a true sign of love Mom. Sorry again..

Hap Hap Happppppy New Year!

This post is a little late, but Happy New Yeeeeeear aaaaaaanyways!! =)

Not much has changed for the new year....I'm back in school, back to work, and back to the crazy life!
This semester I have 2 classes that I am loving so far: the first is Mother/Baby and the second is Complex Disorders. I already feel like I've learned more in the last 2 weeks than I did the entire last semester. Just a different way of teaching I guess, and perhaps a little more dedication on my end, but it's nice not to dread class on a weekly basis! I'm also taking a statistics class at night, which I DO NOT like....however I'm doing my best to get through it. That is the goal = to get through it. Blake is busy working away at Kennecott, he is loving his job and getting some great experience and opportunities out there. Hopefully one day he will be the president of Rio Tinto and I can spend my weekends on a beach somewhere far far away from UVU =) One can wish right! Exactly.

Speaking of exactly...With it being the new year I haven't exactly set any new goals that are, what I guess you would call official, but here is a list of what comes to mind!

2011 Goals for Emily Wilde
- Don't eat junk. Obviously this is a goal for 99% of America right about now.
But hey, I've got to get thinking about having offspring one day (in 10 years) and the last thing I want to think about is adding 30 lbs to my girth. Statistically speaking (I do that now, hence the statistics class), most women gain 25-30 lbs during pregnancy. My goal is to lose 30 lbs first, then gain 30 lbs, and in essence gain 0 lbs. I'm brilliant. Guarantee I'm the first person to think of this idea.

Hmm other goals:

Start playing tennis more. I remember this one time when I used to be really good at tennis. And I'm wasting my talent. Heavenly Father would not be proud. It's time to pull out the old tennis skirt, put some sweats under it, and whack the ball around. Deal.
Carbs and sugar are not my friends. I am not going to eat them until March 12th. This is the day that my dear cousin Hillary gets wedded. And I think it's a good idea anyways. So there.

Visiting Teaching is another goal I have set for myself, I'm going to do it consistenly. That's it, I will do it. And I'm already done with January visiting teaching so we are off to a good start folks. Thats me on the right, visiting teaching some friends. Obviously. Next goal: Buy Just Dance for my wii. What better way to exercise then to drop it like its hot in the comforts of my own home.

And last but not least, I am going to make Blake give me a massage once a day. Because I am a nice person.

Good Luck with all your new goals friends! Cheeeeeers!

(With a non-alcoholic beverage.)
