Halloweeeeeen!

Last night we had the annual Pugh/Karr/Wilde Pumpkin Carving Fiesta. We started the night out with some tasty Stacked Dinners, had far too much candy and cookies afterwards, and then carved our little hearts out. Unfortunately my pictures dont include Jared's pumpkin, he chose the hardest stencil EVER and was still working on his when we left last night at 9:30. But i will have pictures of his soon (or Mandy will!), and here are the rest of them!
Front Row L/R: Blake's, Emily's, Jenny's. Back Row L/R: Jaxson/Matt's, Jayne's, Mandy's & Ricks (fyi...my dads is not a rabbit, he says its a japanese pumpkin going hiiiiiii-yaaaaaah! Just wanted to make that clear.
And here are some other fun pictures from me and Blake's Halloween Festivities so far!
Blake suspended these balloons with fishing string to make them look like they were floating! So clever =) Fun Ward Party!

We decided to be ourselves in 10 years for the Party. I can only hope we really are this sexy one day. After the party we went to Applebees dressed like this. In the parking lot I took off on a dead run for the car. I dont think people there had witnessed a pregnant lady run that fast, ever.
Here are our First Pumpkins we carved! =)

Happy Halloweeeeeeen!

Pumpkin Carvation.

Friday night, in hopes to get us pumped for our frightmare delight the next morning, Blake and I decided to carve some pumpkins that we have had on hand for weeks. We found, what we believed to be, the perfect pumpkins. Ever. They were nestled deep within the biggest Wal Mart bin you have ever laid your eyes upon. And yes, like two parents searching for the perfect child amidst an orphanage, we found the perfect pumpkins. Blake commented that maybe we should choose the ugly, deformed ones that no one else would pick, but my motherly instincts kicked in. I didnt want a pumpkin that only a mother could love. I wanted the blonde hair, blue eyed one that would win homecoming queen.
After the purchase, we put these beautiful pumpkins in our yard, so that they could stay cold until just the right time when we would commense to carving. That day was Friday.
We searched the internet for free patterns so that our pumpkins were sure to be beautiful post-carving. After searching for days (or minutes) we both decided on the perfect pattern. Only to take them over to our pumpkins and realize, our pumpkins, although deliciously round and spot-free, were not very tall. There were very few patterns that would actually fit on pumpkins such as ours. Through all of that searching for just the right ones, we inevitably picked ones that werent so user-friendly. But the show had to go on.
I did a spider, Blake did a scary face. They ended up glorious in the end (see picture.)
But a lesson was learned. When life hands you a pumpkin, hand it back and hope for a taller one that can fit a better pattern on it. Cuz its dang hard trying to carve a pumpkin that is short. And then you have to figure out somewhere high above the ground to put it so that people can actually see it. And alot of the times there arent high places to put them. But we love the pumpkins anyways.
Happy Halloween.

Here's your sign.

Tomorrow Blake and I will be attending Lagoon for the third time this season. Because the fun starts there. That's their slogan, and a very accurate one at that. The fun not only starts there, but it also stops there. Usually around 8pm. By that time, you have usually stepped in fecal matter that definitely does look human, have been hit on by a person of the same gender, and are wondering how many workers a) actually speak and understand english or b) enjoy hydroponics. The illegal kind.
But here I find myself once again, itching for Lagoon. And by golly I'm going to scratch it. So for any of you yayhoos out there who want a thrill, just strap on your best WT attire, and lets do this.

Random Survey Du Jour.

Who are you? I am Emmaline Norbert Consuelos Wilde Part Deux.
1) How old are you? Too old to be taking a survey like this.
2) Do you believe in reincarnation? Uh no. But if it happens i hope i come back as a mini horse.
3) Would you rather be deaf or blind? Deaf, no more hearing people chew loudly.
4) If you found out your best friend was gay/lesbian? I would say "I told you!" to all my other friends. Then i would go shopping with the loot i just won.
5) Do you consider yourself a good listener? Yah, not so much. I tend to be a story topper, ya know.. always have to tell my story right after the other persons story so that im the center of attention. Terrible habit.
6) Would you rather be short or tall? Gosh I sure wish I were taller.
7) Would you rather be overly happy and poor, or overly wealthy andhappy? So basically either way I'm guaranteed to be happy? Then I'll go with the overly wealthy and happy. I ain't stoopid.
8) Would you consider your relationship with your parents bad, or good? Superb. They miss me on a regular basis. Regular meaning once a month. I wish i were that regular...sheesh.
9) Do you like to talk on the phone? No. I would rather hide behind text messages and say things I would never dare say otherwise.
10) Would you rather go on a walk or watch tv? A walk. I married a Wilde, daily walks are in their blood =)
11) What's your dream honeymoon? Already had it..Went to Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley for 3 nights and 2 nights in Moab. Perfect =)
12) What would be the first thing you'd change about yourself? My thunder thighs. Go away.
13) Do you think boys or girls have it easier? Boys. They dont have to squeeze out human beings through odd areas.
14) If you had a round-trip ride in any time machine, where would you go? I would travel back to the early 90's and make sure Kevin made it on the airplane. He was too young to be home alone. You could never get away with that these days.
15) If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do? I'd park my cheeks in a big old bank and smuggle some money. And maybe make it to a front row seat at a Jonas Brothers concert. wheeee!
16) Do you like Adidas, Nike, Fila, Reebok [or anyother brand]? I used to loooove Fila. I'd wear my big old knee high white socks, some tazmanian devil shorts, and an oversized T-shirt with them. I was envied by all the neighborhood children.
17) If you could change your name, what would it be? Miracle Pugh Wilde. I actually talked to a girl the other day whose name was miracle, I wanted to slap her. You're not a miracle just because youre parents named you that. Or maybe she was. Now I feel like a jerk.
18) If you were in a theater and someone was crying, would you laugh? Yes, because that person is probably me. Or Blake. One of the two. And probably because one of us, not the female one, let one fly. Not speaking from experience...
19) Have you ever thought you were going to die? Many times, all in the last 5 months actually. Weird how getting married can bring so many close calls. Guess we have to live up to our last name.
20) What's the hardest thing about growing up? Seeing your skin start to sag.
21) Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Only at Family Reunions.
22) What little unknown talents do you possess? I can memorize the heck out of anything =) i have amazing short term memory, and like zero long term memory. Dont remember anything past yesterday, that's why i write it all down in an excel spreadsheet! hello...true story.
23) Would you eat a bowl of live crickets for $40,000? Heck yes. Spiders no, crickets bring it on.
24) If this Saturday, you could do ANYTHING you wanted, what wouldyou do? Blake and I are going to Frightmares at Lagoon. Thats pretty much what i would wish i could be doing. I'm that white trash. We are living the dream.
25) What's the worst word(s): Moist. Hate it. Weird word, don't like it.
26) Have you ever wanted to run away? Yes, i actually have that feeling everytime someone from the ward calls me.
27) What's your worst fear? Not getting into Nursing School, and getting pregnant. Yikes!
28) What is your dream car? An Acura TL. Black, tinted windows, black rims. Amen.
29) Do you sleep with a stuffed animal? That's a very personal question.
30) Have you ever felt you were in love? Yes, I am in love. With Blake and Chanel Bags. Someone buy me one. The bag, not Blake.
31) If you were stranded on a deserted island with one person, who would it be? Well my husband duh, that would be the life. I hope it happens soon.
32) What is your favorite color? Moss green right now, and plum. Mmm pretty.
33) What guy/girl do you like more than anyone else? uh Blake. He is a delectible morsel.
34) If you could be any animal what would you be? A big fat hippo. Cuz thats how i feel inside. Make it an Emo hippo, i wanna feel like the world owes me something too.
35) How do you eat an Oreo? I get a fork and drown it in milk, and after it stops breathing and squirming i put the entire cookie in my mouth and squeeze it through my teeth with my tongue. Then I make sure I talk to lots of people shortly after.
36) Do you eat chicken fingers with a fork? Uh no. I pick up the grissly greasy morsel and devour the whole thing in one bite. Then I gag on the fatty lines of fat running through the fried, juicy, overly-cooked breading.
37) Do you eat the stems of broccoli? Of course, thats where all the nutrients are. Right in the trunk.
38) If you could do anything to the person you hated most what would it be? I would make them sit in a room with me and hold my hand all day. If they let go, time starts over. Enjoy.

42) Hair Color: Stringy washed out Poop brown.
43) Eye Color: Green.
44) Location: H-E-double hockey sticks.
45) School: Loving it. Math is my new love. Sike. Nutrition is way overrated.
46) Pets: NONE. Thank heavens. Oh wait we have a fish that i always forget about. On purpose.
47) Dream Job: Doctor. But I'll settle for a nurse, so that i dont wake up one day to my emo kids doing things that they shouldnt be doing in places where they should not be.
48) Fav Music: MOTAB. woo.
49) Fav Movie: Saving Silverman. It's very deep.
50) Fav Subject(s): Math hello. It's my thing.
51) Fav Sport: Tenn-ass because i have tenacity. And a problem with hitting balls and throwing racquets in an uncontrolled manner after losing. It's the birth control, don't judge me.
52) Least Fav: Soccer. I tried to like it, we just have no chemistry. I let it down easy.
53) Fave Month: October helloooooo, im living the dream right now. Chilly weather, cider, ghosts, what more could a girl ask for. Besides a Chanel bag. And some jewelry. Or clothes.
54) Fave Holidays: Halloween, and Christmas! wooooo!
55) Fav Toothpaste: Crest total Whitening. Makes my teeth glitter-ish.
56) Fav Food: Salad of sorts. Too many to name.

Terrifying.

We found some Taliban members and rented their ride. Now it has a sticker on it that reads "I lived through Hells Revenge." Cuz i did. And I don't know how. Blake no longer has aspirations to build up his 72 Buckin' Bronco after riding in such a magnificent machine.

We got back from Moab. One word can sum up this trip for me.... terrifying. Thank you to dear old dad who permanently scarred me for life as a young child, I am presently not a huge fan of "jeeping" as they call it.
Quick story of how i became this way- it involved 13 people in a mini van, on the steepest hill in san francisco, dad pretends the engine goes out, me the 6 year old in the back part of the van sitting on a portopotty (not using it thank you), is sucking face to the back window watching death come upon me as we roll backwards at high speeds. Dad laughs, Emily is never quite the same.

With that said, I did my best to have a good weekend, but found myself still suffering from anxiety even after getting home from the so-called "vacation." I think in due time (10+ years) I can overcome this jeeping/4wheeling fear after a few more weekends like this one. But I am definitely not too cool to say that I was more than TERRIFIED. Poor Blake, I think he still has claw marks in his forearms from me grabbing him in the back of the Rubicon. And I believe more than one person (Matt, my dad....) would have liked to kill me, while wishing I had been in someone else's jeep besides there's.=)

But hey, I did my best.

Pictures of the 3 day anxiety attack to come soon.... =)

My Crunk Goblin.

Today we got a sweet little present at my work (CVE- best work place ever!). Look at this cute thermos they gave all the girls, just to be nice. It's hot pink and has diamonds all around it! (You cant see them real well in the picture, but I'm about 60% sure they are real.) How fun is this! Gotta love my workplace =)

Now off to school to take a test. I'll put some magic juice in my thermos before I go. Maybe that will help.

And by magic juice I mean something strong and hard.

Like the real diet coke, not the no-caffeine kind.

Isn't it divine!

Not too many things that can make a girl happier =) So this is for my sweet, hot, nice caboosed lover. I love you!

Dong...Where is my automobile? ... Autooooomooobilllle? Lehhhhhk.

(If you don't know the quote above, you need to re-evaluate your priorities. At least I know Jenny AND JEANA haha will understand it =) )

Two nights ago I got out of my Math class early, and since Blake had to be to scouts, I decided to go for a bike ride up to the lake by our house. We live in Herriman just south of Day Break, and for those of you who havent been to Day Break... you need to go see it! It's like the perfect little cookie cutter community, kind of Edward-Scissorhands-creepiness to an extent, but it is beautiful. And one of the things I love about it, is that it has a man made lake with bridges all over the place, docks for canoeing, and full of tons of fish! Every night you can find all the little neighborhood kids out fishing or feeding the ducks, and it's just beautiful to see. Here are a few pics from the ride. Blake got out of scouts early and biked his little heart out to catch up with me. When he finally caught up to me at the lake, he swerved into the lawn and crashed his bike. He said it was on purpose but i still wonder... =) It was a really fun night though, so for those of you who havent came to our house lately (ahem..you know who you are) , come up and let's go fish at the lake! =)

Shiver me Timbers.

This past weekend Blake and I came home from a lovely time in Price, to a lovely flooded basement.
I stepped into our front door, and felt something slick between my toes. As I carried the groceries into the kitchen and set them down i walked onto the carpet to reach for our light. Squishhhhhhh. Water over the toes. I proceed to walk down the hall to our bedroom, squish more water. And lots and lots of wet shoes.
As our luck would have it, our ENTIRE basement flooded due to the insane amount of rain we got this weekend. And just as more of our luck would have it, we were out of town with no idea. So since Sunday we have had all of our home moved into our kitchen and everything else shoved into one corner of our bedroom while 30 fans are screaming to dry everything out.
Aside from a few dinners in our room and some movie watching, we just dont go home as much as possible. What a lovely time! So I apologize for the lapse in blogging, but as you can see.... we've got water on the mind. And lots of it.

Holy Busy.

So my friends, I apologize to all of you for not blogging for like... days. But hey, I'm a very busy person. People to see, places to be.
I have had Halloween on the mind now that I am the Activities Chairman for our Ward, and smack dab in the middle of planning it all, but today i decided that I need all of your help with something.

My dear Mother is a very big fan of Sally O Mally from SNL, and I keep trying to convince her that she needs to be this person for Halloween. So lets all take a vote....how many of you think my mom can pull this off? If ya ask me, she already has it in the bag.

Foof her hair a little, add the red spandex outfit ( minus the camel toe that Molly Shannon sports) and she would be a hit! She already has the high kick down and can say "I'mmmmmmmmmmmm 50" in the most annoyingly perfect way.

Here is a picture for your viewing pleasure: Yep, it's Beuford alright.

So if you run into my mom, or perhaps talk to her on the phone, be a sport and convince her that all the cool kids are doing it.

Happy Halloween!
