Talisia's Baby Shower!

Last night I had the pleasure of going to Talisia's baby shower for her little boy that is going to arrive soon! It was a fun time opening gifts, and getting to know lots of Talisia's friends. The decorations were so cute and of course, great food. Here are the pics for your enjoyment. Her baby's name is going to be Beckham, is that not so cute! He is going to be dressed to the max if he is anything like his cute Mama =) I can't wait to meet him!Me and Kortney Kardashian =) haha T is so pretty! I hope I look like that when I'm 8 months pregnant!
Boston, Celia, and me! It was so fun catching up with them!
Talisia opening my hot gift =) I knew she would like the polka dots!
Ok look how cute this Nursery is! I wouldn't expect any less from T and Brandon though! Ugh soooo adorable.
Talisia's cute sister made her this little guy made of diapers and the cutest outfit!
It was a great time at the shower, I am sooo excited for them to have their cute baby soon!
While I was wrapping her presents at my parents house, Jax and Logey were helping me so I snapped a couple pictures of them. They are so cute =)

We Love School, Yes We do.

This is Blake and I at school last night, we love school. Last night I had to pee in a cup every 30 minutes for 90 minutes for my physiology lab. It was far too much fun to even attempt to describe. We have 4 weeks of school left, man oh man are we excited for that news. I have a bunch of tests left, and Blake has a bunch of papers still, but we atleast can see the light at the end of the tunnel. So for all of you other school dwellers, cheers to us! We are almost to the finish line. Oh, but then we get 2 weeks until it all starts again, but let's not talk about that.

Wahooooo!

I found my camera cord, hallelujah!!!!! And on top of that exciting news, I found a couple of things to buy with my "secret stash" this weekend! I guess I spoke too soon in my last post huh! Blake and I were at the mall on Saturday, killing some time before we headed up to Heber, for Cowboy Poetry, and I came across the cutest red Guess coat and Jessica Simpson boots (I am trying to forget that they are Jessica Simpson brand, believe me). Soooo I bought them, I think I'm going to let Blake give me the boots for Christmas, but man am I excited. =) Here are a few pictures of my purchases, I actually bought the boots in a light brown color, but this is the same boot in black! And my coat is red not white, although if they had it in this color too I may have bought them both =) Good thing they didn't!
This weekend we had a great time in Heber with Blake's family. Cowboy Poetry is something we started doing last year, and we hope to keep doing it in the years to come. It's always a fun time listening to the Bar J Wranglers. And I ain't even a cowboy.... ain't. What a fun word! This week we are super busy with school. It's sort of that final push as everything begins to wrap up! (Thank goodness!) Today I am headed to turn in my first round of Nursing paperwork, which I am pretty excited about! After that I am taking myself to Salon Dante to get a nice 90 minute massage, hallelujah again! It's a good day for a Monday my friends. But here are a few pictures of the things I have missed the past few weeks. Hope you all enjoy your day!Jaxson loved every minute of pumpkin carving this year!

Above from Left Top to Bottom Right: Matt's killer Skull with crossbones (if you asked Jax it is a pig though) Blake's Angels/Yankees Pumpkin, below that is my lovely ensemble with horns (supposed to be eyelashes). Top Right is Jare's Jackolantern, Mandy's spectactular design below that, Jaxson's sic Batman pumpkin, and Jenny's super scary sasquatch to the right of Batman =). Jax and Blake gettin' sauced after the festivities! My cute parents who provided all the fun! =) Before we know it, it will be gingerbread house time wahooo!Notice I had zero pictures of myself on Halloween, why do you ask? Because I had a giant cold sore, what's new? Here is me post-cold sore. Ahhhh much better.

Where are you my friend?

I have lost my camera cord that connects my camera to my computer (so that I can transfer pictures, nawmean.) Shhhh don't tell Blake, he keeps asking me why I haven't posted our Pumpkin carving pictures, Halloween pictures, etc. It's because I cant find that dang cord! Let us all have a moment of silence, that I may find it in the near future. Thank you.
Regardless of that fiasco, I can still write about exciting things going on. This week Blake found a Glock 26 that he just loooooves. He has been looking at these types of guns for like 30 years. But he finally found the one he loved, so he bought it. Way to go Blake! However just when I thought his spontaneous power shopping had ended, he also found himself a slick new Bow, that he also can't live without. Last night he went and shot it in Lehi, and they became one. "The Bow picked me," Blake said. Ok he didn't really say that but I bet he was thinking it. The point is, it now resides in my living room. All shiny and happily adopted, spoiled and getting fat from all the food we lovingly give it. Last night I said to Blake, "Awesome bow! So what do I get!" He gave me the look. Ya see Blake and I have what we call a "secret stash" not a mustache my friends, although that would be exciting also. A secret stash of money, is what I speak of. I think it's kind of exciting that we have this, so that we can buy things we really like (like hot boots and clothes) without the guilt factor. And since it's a stash that can run out if we let it, we are very particular with what we buy with it. Well some of us are....ha just kidding lover!
I actually am quite proud of Blake, if you know Blake's personality he will stew over buying things for months. Seriously, he takes every purchase very seriously. Gunnies, Cabelas, Sportsmans, they all give me a free hot dog everytime I go there because they know that I am about to engage in a very sweaty journey that will require sustenance. But Blake found these two items, and he bought 'em, right then and there. Seriously Blake, you have made me proud.
So with allllll that said, now what do I buy? It's pretty sad when you can't think of a thing you should spend your secret stash on. Guess I'll be buying scrubs, books, stethoscopes, books, enema kits, ya know, fun stuff like that.
Happy Thursday my friends, the weekend is almost here!!

IT'S A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!

Well my friends as most of you know I applied to the Nursing program this October, and just yesterday I received my letter telling me that I GOT INTO THE UVU NURSING PROGRAM!!!!! It has been a long time coming, and I can't tell you how excited I am to finally get on my way to graduating!! It's going to be a busy New Year starting Nursing school and hopefully still working lots at CVE, but I can't wait! Cheers to catheters and sponge baths! And Scrubs, I'm pretty dang excited to be required to wear those all day instead of skirts and heels! =) Hope you all have a happy day!!!!!
