Christmas Time!

It's been awhile since I have posted anything, so here are pictures of all the festivities we have been up to! We were able to visit Talisia and Brandon in the hospital a few weeks ago, it was so fun meeting their new little boy Beckham, he is a doll! We have also been to Temple Square with Jen & Matt, and have had lots and lots of Christmas parties! This past Monday I had a fun party with all of my girlfriends, we held it at Jeana's house and had a great time as usual. And last night we celebrated the annual Pugh/Karr/Wilde family Gingerbread House making night. Today I worked half a day but was able to finish my Christmas shopping, oops I know, and I just finished my sugar cookies for Christmas woohoo! Here are the pics, hope you enjoy, and Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope you all have a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with your families!!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Oh the Joy.

So we had our annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on Friday, in which I didn't even wear an ugly sweater. I know this is sac-relig. But hey, I was so stressed and busy that I made it to the DI 30 minutes before the party and found ZERO there. Plus, there were so many people this year that were really shopping at the DI, that it broke my heart to sit in there and buy stuff and laugh about it. So Blake and I attended the party sans sweater. But we still had a great time with tons of great food, and lots of great people. I will post pics soon.
This week has literally been the most stressful week of my entire adult life. I'm not kidding. Between nursing requirements for next semester (most of you know that story in my attempts to find a solution), and finals week to complete this semester, I have literally ran myself to near death. Thank goodness I am alive my friends. Do you feel bad for me yet? Yah didn't think so, because I am sure we are all going through something crazy and stressful. I have finally figured out that that is what life is about. Crazy stress, and the ways in which we figure out how to overcome it. Sheesh. But hey, as long as we keep a smile on our face, everything usually turns out in the end. So cheers to all you folk in stressful situations, I feel your pain, believe me, but everything shall pass. Except for me, in regards to my final tonight. Yikes! Happy Holidays!

Oh the Joys!!!!

It is that time again folks, time for the Christmas shindigs to begin! I really couldn't be more excited, I even have hellacious tests just around the river bend, yet the excitement still fills my bowels. Our annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party is coming up, and in true Pugh/Wilde/Karr Fashion, the goal is to always improve/get uglier year by year. I thought I better post last year's photo's so that we will have something to compare this year's photos too. And as an added bonus, these may provide a laugh as well. So enjoy, and let the count down begin to all the festive parties that everyone has planned!

Yah lets just say Ricky Bobby won it, I am sure it's very hard for you to imagine why. He was so proud that he bought a shirt in a size six-sex and was also able to fit into my Mom's pants. Fit in them, not git in them, k people? And in true Jayne fashion, she looked way too cute for an ugly sweater party. But hey,she was the only one who wore something that she actually owned. Yes, she wore that sextacular jacket once on a cruise. Obviously the belle of the boat back in the early 90's.

This is my sister Jenny, she is abnormally cute isn't she. Her husband Matt decided not to get dressed up last year. He just wore his normal church clothes and a gold chain. Jen liked to touch his chin chops and smell his savageness. Tonya brought her Uncle ChiChi, he is from Mexico. Barely spoke a lick of English.

Jax was really excited to be wearing a little girls crocheted sweater. When we left Blake made me promise I would never do that to our kids. I made no promise that day.

And who are we forgetting? Me duh, pictured here with that husband of mine who was too cool to dress up. Is it just me or does Blake look embarrassed at having his arm around me? Hmm. All I know is that neon undershirt said "Vail" on it. As in Vail, Colorado. That's how I knew that at one point in it's life, it was a very expensive piece.
Don't Judge Us. See ya in a week with the new pics yo.

~~Thanksgiving 2009~~

Well we officially made it back from our Disneyland trip in one piece! We had a blast all week bouncing from Disneyland to Cali Adventure, to the beach and more! It was great to be with my big bro since it has been such a long time since we vacationed together. And we had a lot of fun with Steve & Sandy, Hill and Ty, and Dirk and Kayla. By the end of the trip we are all pooped and couldnt feel our legs from the knees down. I dont think I have walked that much in a long time! We were able to spend a 1/2 day at Newport Beach and Balboa Island, and we even got to experience Fashion Island on Black Friday. Talk about craziness! Blake loooooved that part, anything with the word "Mall" involved totally thrills Blake =) But I did find some great deals at Forever 21, and I bought me an OC sweatshirt on Newport Beach. It was a much needed break for Blake and I, now we are ready to study and get these finals over with! Thanks to Jare and Mandy and the Pugh fam for such a great weekend!
Here are the pics you've obviously all been waiting for =)
Here we are on the looooong drive, looking beautiful as ever.
We did make a stop at the Bass Pro Shop in Vegas since we had a couple of cars full of Rednecks =) But even I enjoy that store, it's pretty neat inside!
Our first classic Disney picture together wahooo!
Jare and Mandy, oh how I love them!
Brrrr! It was a wee bit chilly this night! Me, on the craziest Ferris Wheel ever!Just before the Toy Story ride with my sweet glasses and Dirk's sweet peace sign.
Hill and Ty kapowwwww!
We are awesome at making faces right? I agree
Dirk and Kayla, haha we had so much fun with them!
The AMMMMAZING tree at Disneyland! On our last night at Disneyland, this Elvis band came out, they were so AMAZING! He seriously looked and talked and shaked it just like the King. He was thrusting in all the old ladies faces who were on the front row. It was classic!
Our day trip to Newport Beach and Balboa Island. I was standing on the dock and all of a sudden I felt something hit the collar of my coat. I was convinced a bird had crapped all over me, then I saw Blake go running up these stairs. There were two 14 year old local girls who were spitting spit wads at all the tourists, and I was the lucky one to get hit! I laughed. And told them I was gonna hair drag them. They ran away.
I loooooved Balboa Island, all of the rich folk who had homes right on the beach had their homes all decorated out for Christmas. They even had white felt all over their yards to look like snow, it was awesome!
Well thats all folks, it was a great vacation! Wish it would have never ended!!!! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their families =)Gosh I almost forgot the most important picture of all. It's so Vogue.
