Christmas 2009...and other Festivities!

So here are my pics as promised! We had our 2nd Christmas together at our little place, and loved it! After opening our gifts together, we headed down to my parent's house for the usual Christmas morning Shrimp whore-derves (yep, that's right) and relaxed with the whole fam dam. After eating like a zillion sugar cookies, my Mom asked me if I brought the Christmas ham to which i replied. Oh crap. Yah little old me forgot to take the ginormous ham out of the freezer, it was at my home in Herriman solid as a rock. Wow way to go Em! So no ham for Christmas, but we had everything else, and yes I still feel horrible. However I did run home and get the frozen block one might call a ham and I gave it to my Mom so that we could atleast have it for Sunday dinner. Which we did, and it was delectable. Dont put me in charge of the ham anymore k! As usual we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Bateman's at 2 o clock for Christmas Lunch, we opened our gifts from everyone, and then it was on to the next extravaganza! Blake and I headed over to the Worthens for some Wii playing and visiting, went to the Maraths to see all of the awesome gifts that Trist, Ri, and Lexi got, andthen stopped in for a visit with Brandon, Talisia, and Beckham, after which we finally ended up at my parent's house! Jax wasn't too enthralled with the whole Christmas idea until about 8pm, so we watched him open gifts and then our good friend Danielle came over. It was a fun filled day, more busy then I like but hey it's all about visiting with friends and family!!!Blake's Christmas was lots of new toys for his new bow, an ice fishing chair, some sic Cabela's slippers, a couple passes to Brighton for boarding, a Deer Hunter game for the Wii, and a bunch of other stuff I cant remember off the top of my head!

Em's Christmas involved a delectable zebra purse which you can view above, a mini HP laptop for school, a hot new giant cupcake maker, a stethoscope from my in-laws which I loooove, a bunch of nursing supplies, some earring, some boots, ya know all the girl stuff =) And my parents got us some sweet 600 count sheets which i decided I am also in love with!

Here is Jax playing with his favorite new aquarium! The poor little guy felt pretty overwhelmed with the thousands of gifts that he got, but finally in the evening he really got into opening presents and opened a bazillion of them all at once!The day after Christmas, we headed out to Price to spend some time with Blake's family. Jare and Mandy came out on Saturday and we all ventured off to the Price shooting range. We had a ton of fun! We were able to shoot Blake's new glock, Jare's 22 pistol, a few rifles, and of course the Big Ol 50 BMG that belongs to my redneck hussy of a brother. Somehow Jare, Blake, and Mandy all convinced me to shoot the 50. It was quite the experience, but fun!

Then to end a great weekend of fun, the Rawlings stopped by for a visit. And boy were they entertaining =) Guess you had to be there! Let's just say that Morgan and Jerry got mooooooves!
