Jaxaphone the Birthday Boy!

Sunday we celebrated Jaxson's 4th Birthday! I can't believe he is that old, it's mind blowing! I spent the day at my parent's house since Blake was stuck at work. We went to church, then headed over to Jen's house to visit Jax before the big Birthday bash. He was pretty excited about his giant Rollercoaster that Matt built him out of those K'Nexx kits, I'm pretty sure he could watch it for 10 hours straight. And also explain every turn and dip to anyone who is willing to listen =) I gave him a little Dog he has been wanting, you can program it to say his name and his favorite things like chicken nuggets and dolphins. It's like Christmas every time that stuffed animal says chicken nuggets, Jax's face lights up so big. haha awesome! After the visit, we bummed around at Mom and Dads while Jen and Matt made the masterpiece of a cake. Once again, they gave everyone on the show "Cake Boss" a run for their money. Last year it was a giant Monster Truck made out of cakes and Rice Krispys, and this year it was a big Great White Shark coming out of the water. Jax was AMAAAAAZED. Props to Jen and Matt for another successful cake concoction! You guys should start a business! Then at about 7pm, everyone came over to Jen & Matts and the party began! Jax got lots of fun things, a Monster Truck ramp to jump his trucks off of, a dolphin pillow pet, a fishing pole, some awesome Super Hero figurines, and of course piles of clothes. Oh and can't forget the Blue Dynaco truck that was his FAVEY! Hope you had a great 4th Birthday JAX, WE LOVE YOU!

Better Late than Never.....

Well we have been up to lots lately, and by lots I mean not a lot. I kid. Mr Blake celebrated his b-day on July 2nd, which we spent in Price! It was lots of fun for Blake to drive around his Bronc all day, and to have a nice relaxing weekend of Bbqing, slip-n-slidin' and hanging out with the Wilde fam. Blake got a sweet pontoon boat for his birthday, to help his redneck insides catch fish more effectively. And he also got lots of new camping shhhhtuff from his folks, so that our little camping trips are much more delightful. Blake's Mom had the most delicious bbq ever involving shiskkabobs with every type of meat and vegetable imaginable, it was divine. We continue to dream about its succulence.
After our fun weekend in Price, we also had a fun weekend of camping at Strawberry, the first adventure out with our new trailer and Burb. It was fun to sit around a fire, sleep in a cozy bed, and cook lots of yummy food with both of our Dads, Jare, and Miss Mandy. I'm thinking this whole camping idea is starting to look up now that I have a place to rid of bodily fluids that doesn't involve a giant stinky hole in the ground. Horay! Other than that we have been counting down the minutes to when our Dear Bradey returns home, 5 weeks people! The hard part is Bradey gets home August 26th, which is the day after school for me starts. So on one hand I want the time to fly, and on the other hand, I want time to stop! Hmmm such a dilemma. So while I think about this said dilemma, you enjoy the pictures below. And I will say youre welcome now, for finally posting something new on these walls. Arivarderchay!
Nice bum.

5 Places I Would Rather Be........

This week has been a hard week to work my friends. Why? A) Blake is finally done with working his night shift and oh how I wish I could spend some time with him... and B) It's Roundup week, which means so many fun festivities to partake in, and I feel like I'm missing out on all of it! Before I know it, the week will be over! And this is my favorite week of the entire year! Don't judge me.
So today I have been pondering the thoughts of what I would rather be doing...... Aaaaand here is my list.... (in no particular order)...
#1 - I sure would like to be at Cabelas right now, not shopping for my latest camoflauge collection of lingerie, but watching the nephews stare in amazement at all the fish =) We could spend hours in there, and Jax can name every fish in the place. It's quite awesome if I do say so myself.
#2 - Right about now, I would love to be playing Peek A Boo with Yogi and a fry box. Is he not he cutest thing ever? I would put money on the fact that he is. The cutest thing EVER.
#3 - Any sort of party in Wines Park would be a delicious treat right now. I love running into old neighbors and friends that you don't see often, and talking about what everyone has been up to. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I sure find it a whole lot of fun!
#4 - I definitely could be spending some time in Moab right about now. Yes it may be uber hot, but some Pasta Jays and a hike to somewhere pretty sure would make my day. Plus I could stop shaving. That's the cool thing to do in Moab. Game on I say.#5 - And last, but certainly not least, what I wouldn't give to be staring at this beauty right about now. We need less working hours, and more ballgame watching hours. That is the dream. But hey, at least while I'm stuck at work...
Blake is out enjoying the outdoors, which is where this kid belongs I tell ya.
After a hard workweek, I'm glad he has such pretty places nearby to fish his little heart out! And here's to the rest of my afternoon....

Summer Fun 2010! It's about time....

This summer has started off a little slow with all the weather shenanigans going on but I think it's finally safe to say that it's here to stay! (And so is some flooding apparently)
In true Wilde tradition we spent Memorial Day weekend with all of the Wilde Family in Midway. It was fun for Blake and I to spend our first night together in our delectable new trailer, which is parked at Grandma Wildes! We attempted to sleep together on the same (rather small) bed, but by about 1:30am I told Blake one of us better go sleep somewhere else or I'm going to look like Rosie O'Donnel in the morning. So he moved over to the other bed, and we had a restful nights sleep from there on out =)
We are excited to go camping all summer, I think our trailer is going to be lots of fun for us! I hope we can do little weekend trips to AF Canyon and wherever else our little GPS takes us!
We also did a little golfing in Midway at the Homestead with Brandon and Rick, which was a lot of fun. Blake only swore half the time, and the boys enjoyed looking for their balls all over the course =) Me, I had fun driving the cart.
As always we ate a bunch of great food at Grandma Wildes, and fed the little duckies at the state park, it was nice to spend time with the Wilde crew! Whoever said a Mazda couldn't pull a 19' trailer? Seriously.

We also got to go to a sweet concert last weekend. Our good friends Norm and Mel invited us to Miller Motor Sports Park for the Styx - Foreigner - Kansas concert, and it was sweet! It was super packed so we just parked it on a blanket and listened from a distance, but everyone knows Styx is my favorite concert ever so it was a blast! Thanks Kesters!
Here's Norm, Mel, Mom, and Dad enjoying the concert!
And us, we sneaked up a little closer to the stage but didnt last long, too much partying for us!

Blake has finally finished his 3 weeks of training at Kennecott and has began his 4 on 4 off schedule. He had to work on Saturday which was definitely weird for us! We are so used to spening Saturdays together, but we made up for our missed time by going to Cafe Rio and Mini Golfing on Saturday night! Blake beat me by one shot! What the heck. And on Sunday we relaxed all day together while having a nice BBQ @ Daybreak Lakes after church, and then a walk in the evening. We love it here, Herriman has been such a great place to live! This weekend Blake works Thursday through Sunday, so it's going to be another weekend apart! But we try to makeup for it on his days off! We are just so grateful he has a good job, it's such a blessing these days!

Well that pretty much sums up our lives for the past couple weeks! We hope to have lots of fun summer memories at the Zoo, Ruths Diner, Lagoon, and wherever else our Silver Sanchez takes us! Happy Summer time!

I need.....

Fewer Days at Work.....
And more days watching this....

Blake golfed the Homestead this weekend while we stayed in Midway for Memorial Day. We had a tee time at 8:20 in the morning, and it was such nice weather and soooo pretty there. This weekend went by way too fast, how is it that a long weekend can feel shorter than a normal one? That my friends I will never know. But it was fun to relax and spend some time with the Wilde crew. Now here's to the short work week, let's see if it goes by as fast as the weekend did!
